Over the Love

给 @瓜萨辛 老师写的小诗!

是兆式孤儿钻木取火心得(??

An apocalypse in its one true nature

Armageddon without disguise

Is far from seas of burning sulfur

Instead, a land buried in ice

Arctic winds, murderous snow

Chills no-one’d rather face

But alas! Who would ever know

The coldness I embrace

Fragments of a breeze, a summer glare

Flood my memory, the late Eden

Now I linger in the frozen air

Of the glorious Good Omens

Mistake me not, however, for I

Would never dream to complain

For the ecstasy has won the fight

All else is drizzles and rain

Orphaned as I am, nonetheless

I shall weep for an eternity

Over the love of the motherless

Sweet end-times “fraternity”

My fallen mind, my solemn hands

Clumsily trace their silhouettes

Of kisses and wine in la-la-land

Desperate waltzing and gavottes

Joyous as it is, dwelling here

Amongst the thinning crowd

Dare I hope for more than mere

One-sided cries and shouts?

Miracles, however often uttered

Can they really be true?

My heart leapt, my soul fluttered

As I stumbled upon you

Words grow pale, I blush

It’s impossible—a joke

To illustrate the sacred rush

Your stories could evoke

O, what warmth arise

Like coming up for air

To see you, a blessed sight

Still around: no more despair
